Former Villanova football quarterback commits to Penn State men's basketball

Apparently John Harrar's transition from the gridiron to the hardwood isn't totally unique for Penn State men's basketball.

Kyle McCloskey, who played quarterback for Villanova this past season, announced via Twitter on Saturday that he was transferring into Pat Chambers' program.

McCloskey was a first-team All-State selection in basketball at Germantown Academy in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.

Listed at 6-foot-3, 220 pounds, McCloskey was the first high school player in the Philadelphia area to pass for 3,000 career yards in football and score 1,000 career points in basketball, according to his bio on Villanova.
