Penn State quarterback Kerry Collins, who directed one of the most productive offenses in school history, has been voted into the College Football Hall of Fame.
Other members of the Class of 2018 are wide receiver Calvin Johnson [Georgia Tech], safety Ed Reed [Miami], defensive back Charles Woodson [Michigan], running back Trevor Cobb [Rice], linebacker Dana Howard [Illinois], offensive lineman Aaron Taylor [Nebraska], running back Paul Palmer [Temple], quarterback Dave Dickenson [Montana], offensive tackle Matt Stinchcomb [Georgia] and coaches Frank Beamer, Mack Brown and Mel Tjeerdsma.
Collins led Penn State to a 12-0 record during his senior season in 1994, as he completed 176 of 274 passes for 2,679 yards and 21 touchdowns.
