Former Penn State men's soccer player gets new contract to stay in Pennsylvania

Former Penn State men's soccer player Jeremy Rafanello inked a contract extension with the Philadelphia Union.

Rafanello received an offer that will guarantee him to be under contract until 2026 with options for 2027 and 2028.

“He has stepped up in pivotal matches and remains ready when called upon. His increased minutes on field this season are a testament to his work ethic, and we are happy to be able to reward him with a new contract," sports director Ernst Tanner said.
