A former Nittany Lion captain is set to start his professional career.
Defender Christian Berger will join the Maine Mariners, the ECHL affiliate of the Boston Bruins.

“This experience is going to be a bit more hockey than in college so I’m excited for that,” Berger said in a release. “It’s going to be a challenge; it’s going to be different.
