A reunion is in order for two Penn State fan favorites.
The Nittany Lions’ most recent captain James Robinson and first ever skipper Tommy Olczyk have both inked professional deals with HC Cergy-Pontoise in France, the club announced Friday.
The Jokers finished 12th out of 14 teams in France’s second tier last season, just narrowly avoiding relegation.
Robinson and Olczyk aren’t exactly known for their scoring prowess, but were each integral members of their respective Penn State teams and will bring plenty of grit, energy and tenacity to Cergy.
Olczyk played two years in the ECHL following graduation, providing 13 points in each season.
