Back in March, the Penn State football program made a change to their medical staff. That’s when the program decided to relieve former Orthopedic Physician, Scott Lynch from his duties in the Happy Valley athletic department. Now, in August, Dr. Lycnh has chosen to file a claim against Penn State football’s head coach, James Franklin.
According to Lynch and his legal team, Franklin played a part in ‘pressuring’ the doctor to clear injured players early to get them back out on the field earlier than desired. In documents obtained by Penn Live, it appears that the former PSU doctor is seeking more than $50,000 in the case.
