As Kenya Dennis' black sedan pulled into the MU Human Performance Institute on Friday, a pair of athletic trainers smiled.
"KD!" one yelled as he strode through the double doors.
Dennis, a standout defensive back, carried an aura of excitement, friendliness and hunger when he entered the workout center. He smiled back at the two trainers before crouching down to play with a black Labrador retriever sitting inside the facility.
It has been nearly two years since the 23-year-old played in a game, but he has not given up on his NFL dreams.
"I know I've got next-level talent," he said.
