Franklin & Marshall junior tight end Tyler Schubert is one of 22 college football players named to the 2017 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team.
The honor recognizes a select group of players from across the country that are committed to service and making a difference in their communities.
Twenty-two players from all levels of college football were selected from an initial list of 146.
Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow, ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit, and Arizona head coach Rich Rodriguez, the current president of the American Football Coaches Association, were among the voting membership.
Schubert, a former standout at Mechanicsburg, is a Rouse Scholar at F&M and currently serves as Chair of the Student-Athlete Leadership Council's Community Service Chapter.
