The game might not have counted in the record books, but Penn State's 91-65 exhibition win over Lock Haven was no less important.
The Nittany Lions got a taste of actual competition as they geared up for a season with heightened expectations against the Bald Eagles.
"It couldn't have gone any better," coach Patrick Chambers said about the game. "It was terrific. I give Lock Haven a lot of credit for competing and going after us hard. They competed hard, and it's great for us to get our young kids playing in front of their families, under the lights, and in their uniforms for the first time.
