Although Pat Chambers and company would have liked to come away with a win in the championship game against No. 16 Texas A&M, the trip to Brooklyn was still a successful one for the Penn State program as a whole.
The Nittany Lions squared off with a young Pitt team in a semifinal matchup on Monday night, and did what they were supposed to do –– win convincingly.
Penn State was able to use this game to get looks at plenty of guys on the bench, while giving the starters a rest for a tough matchup the next day against the sixteenth-ranked Aggies.
