KNOXVILLE — Evan Berry's career at Tennessee appears to be over.
Tennessee coach Butch Jones announced Monday that the dynamic kick returner and safety is done for the season after suffering an upper-body injury in the Vols 24-10 win over Southern Miss on Saturday.
"Unfortunately, Evan Berry will be out for the season as well," Jones said. "I give him a lot of credit for working his way back and getting himself ready to go. But unfortunately he had an injury and right now, as we look at it, it's season-ending."
The senior only played in three games this season, but since he played in the second half of the year, he is ineligible for a medical redshirt.
