The Edmunds brothers era at Virginia Tech is officially over.

Hokies star linebacker Tremaine Edmunds and his brother, Terrell, a safety, both announced on Twitter they are passing on their seniors seasons to enter the NFL draft as juniors.

The 6-foot-5, 250-pound Tremaine is considered a likely first-round pick. He registered 109 tackles, including 14 ½ for losses this season, along with 5 ½ sacks.

The draft outlook is less clear for the 6-2, 220-pound Terrell Edmunds. In his college career, he’s played cornerback, free safety and rover for the Hokies. This season, he had 59 tackles and two interceptions, despite missing the final three games of the year due to shoulder surgery.
