With the victory, St. Bonaventure (19-7, 11-4 A-10) remains one game behind Saint Joseph’s, Dayton and VCU, who are in a three-way tie atop the conference standings.
With the score tied, 72-72, Adams hit four in a row at the line for a 76-72 Bonnies lead. After Wright made 1 of 2 free throws, the Dukes’ TySean Powell made a layup which cut it to 78-76 with 11 seconds to go.
