A day after the Big Ten quarterfinal between Penn State and Indiana was supposed to take place, the Nittany Lions were finally given their opportunity to play the No. 2 Hoosiers.
Although the game came down to an overtime battle between an explosive Indiana offense and Penn State’s pesky goalie Josh Levine, the Hoosiers eventually broke the scoreless tie, and defeated the Nittany Lions 1-0 in overtime.
A number of excellent saves by Levine was the only thing that kept Penn State in the game.
As the game got underway, the Hoosiers offense woke up, breaking out of their slow start to fire shot after shot on Levine, the freshman from Rockville Center, New York.
