Even after a straight-set winning performance, Russ Rose wasn’t happy.
Although Penn State dominated Maryland for its third-straight Big Ten win of the season and 12th win overall, Rose was not impressed with the way his team played throughout the match against the Terrapins.
“I thought we made an awful lot of hitting errors that weren’t very good,” Rose said.
For a young team like Penn State, starting the Big Ten schedule with four consecutive road games is daunting and during a season which Rose has emphasized the importance of practice to get better, his team hasn't had much time to do so.
