Penn State suffered two shutout losses at the hands of fourth-ranked Minnesota Duluth this past weekend.
This, however, did not change first year coach Jeff Kampersal’s uplifting tone heading into the Nittany Lions’ first home series.
“The biggest positive is that the team has a lot of heart. Just overall they’re very coachable and they’ve been receptive to what we are trying to get accomplished,” Kampersal said when reflecting on the takeaways from a tough first two games.
