An affidavit of probable cause, obtained by the Centre Daily Times on Wednesday, offers new insight into the charges against Penn State tight end Brent Wilkerson.
The senior was "suspended indefinitely" from the Lions' football program on Tuesday night after reports surfaced related to an alleged February incident involving the student-athlete in State College. He was charged on March 8 with a misdemeanor count of indecent assault and a summary count of harassment in relation to the incident, and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 6.
According to the CDT, the alleged incident occurred after a a 24-year-old female drove Wilkerson, 21, and his roommate to an off-campus apartment complex where both parties lived after spending time at multiple bars in downtown State College.
