Column | Charting Penn State women’s hockey’s road to AHA Tournament championship

Championship success is on the horizon for Penn State women’s hockey, which has dominated the stat sheet over conference opponents preceding the AHA Tournament.

The Nittany Lions finished with a 28-5-1 record, bringing at least two postseason games home to Pegula Ice Arena.

As the No. 1 seed, Penn State will head straight to the semifinals. The best-of-three series will begin Feb. 28 and conclude March 2. The Nittany Lions will also host the championship game on March 8 if they win the semifinal series, regardless of their opponent.

The lowest seed to win the single-game quarterfinals will face Penn State in the quarterfinals.
