CLEMSON — When the Clemson Tigers left the field following last year’s national championship victory, the questions began almost immediately about what the Tigers’ offense would do without the greatest quarterback in the history of the school.
Deshaun Watson left Clemson following the Tigers’ 35-31 victory over Alabama in the 2017 College Football Playoff National Championship with a year of eligibility remaining. But the Tigers were not worried about what they would do this season because they don’t rebuild at Clemson — they reload.
"Deshaun was a great player, don't get me wrong, but we kind of didn't think about it,” offensive lineman Sean Pollard said.
