NEW ORLEANS — Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney wasted little time before the season letting the media know he was tired of hearing about all of the players not on the 2017 team.
But the Tigers turned the negative questions about how the they would replace the likes of Deshaun Watson, Mike Williams, Artavis Scott, Jordan Leggett, Wayne Gallman, Jay Guillermo, Jadar Johnson, Cordrea Tankersley, Carlos Watkins and Ben Boulware into a positive.
“To be honest with you, ya’ll (the media) have really helped me out a ton,” Swinney said. “Ya’ll have made it easy, because all spring and all summer everybody just talks about the guys that are gone.
