Christian Hackenberg was a 5-star coveted recruit when he was in high school in Virginia. Every top school in the nation wanted him and the talk surrounding him was that he already had the makings of an NFL quarterback. Penn State was the lucky school to land Hackenberg. The young signal-caller honored his commitment to the Nittany Lions despite the NCAA socking the program with damaging sanctions a month before he arrived.
