Penn State enters the 2017 season with the luxury of a deep defensive backfield. Even with a potential season-ending injury to starter John Reid, there are still several valuable players on the roster. One of those guys — senior cornerback Christian Campbell — will look to end his collegiate career with a strong final season.
Campbell will enter practice this summer with a chance to compete for the open starting cornerback job that has been created by the injury to Reid.
A member of the 2014 class, Campbell was rated as a three-star recruit according to 247Sports.
