Penn State junior Catherine Meisner participated in four events on Saturday, and she claimed a top-three finish in all of them.
Penn State women’s swimming struggled, losing 216-84 against Virginia Tech and 177-122 against Princeton. The women have now lost three consecutive meets after blowing out the University of Chicago to start the new year. Despite now sitting at 2-5, Meisner’s performance offered a bright spot for the blue and white moving forward.
The junior started her day in the 200-yard medley relay along with fellow Nittany Lions Ellie Brandbergh, Margaret Markvardt and Maura Fluehr. The group earned bronze with a time of 1:39.
