CHAPEL HILL – Balance is necessary in life.
A diet need it, offensive football coaches strive for it and office-types need a little fun on the weekend to achieve it.
So too did North Carolina guard Cam Johnson, who called his father, Gilbert, over the weekend to figure out it was balance that was plaguing his jumpshot.
He spent a few hours in the Smith Center in the wee hours of Sunday morning working through it after one of the worst performances of his career, and on Tuesday night, he saw the fruits of his labor with a rejuvenated jumper that helped him score 21 points as Carolina topped Clemson 87-79.
