The mood at Monday's BYU football press conference was even more gloomy than it has been during this year of disappointment and frustration.
Coming off another loss -- this time a 2013 setback at Fresno State -- the Cougars not only have to deal with a surging UNLV in their next game on Friday (8:30 p.m. MST, ESPN@) but with the reality of finding a new quarterback.
"We have to rally around our guys," BYU head coach Kalani Sitake said. "We are looking at our quarterback situation with Beau (Hoge) and Joe (Critchlow) as an open competition.
