No. 12 Penn State women’s hockey completed their sweep with a 7-1 win over Lindenwood on Saturday. In the process, Defenseman Kendall Butze’s career-high six points earned herself a spot tied at the top of the history books.

Butze tallied an assist on five of the seven goals scored. She’s now tied with former Nittany Lion Kiara Zanon for most assists in a single game in program history.

“That’s really special, actually,” Butze said. “I didn’t know that. I figured it would be a little bit more just looking back at past players we’ve had on this team, but that’s awesome.
