Penn State has historically dominated Bucknell, defeating them eight games in a row. The last Bison victory over the Nittany Lions coming in 2007.
But this streak ended on Wednesday night.
Bucknell overcame an attempted comeback by Penn State to defeat the Nittany Lions 7-6 in 10 innings in a thrilling first game of the double header.
In the second game, the Bison dominated Penn State 13-1 in five innings.
Penn State has now lost nine straight games and is 7-37 this season.
This is the final doubleheader the Nittany Lions are scheduled to play this season and Penn State failed to win both games in a double header all season long.
