The forecast for Saturday is mostly sunny with a high of 79 degrees. What’s your estimate on the number of butts in seats at the start of the game (not PSU’s “attendance” figure), and at the start of the fourth quarter? I’m going with 60K and 30K.—Smee

I hate to break it to you, Smee, but the forecast isn’t so sunny anymore:

Because of that, I bet your numbers are going to be pretty accurate (though I’d probably go with around 75k to start). Thirty thousand to start the fourth still seems about right to me.
