Cracking her knuckles and standing outside the empty practice gym, Briannah Tsang timidly talked about the weekend ahead of her.
The Penn State sophomore is the only gymnast representing the Nittany Lions at this year’s NCAA National Championships on Friday in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. She qualified at the NCAA Regional Competition for an individual event spot on the floor exercise.
“Right now, I’m thinking of school and all the work I have to do before I go,” Tsang said. “So I guess I’m not really thinking about [the meet] yet.”
Tsang got her start in the gymnastics world at the early age of four.
