Brandon Taylor carries Penn State men’s basketball with 19 second half points

From his first shot until his last, the entire Penn State crowd knew just whose night it was at the Bryce Jordan Center.

In Penn State’s 68-62 victory over DePaul on Tuesday night, the Nittany Lions improved to 2-0 on the season by riding the back of Brandon Taylor and his 22 points.

Not that anyone would’ve predicted that for the first 19 minutes and 55 seconds of the game.

Restricted to the bench and held with a single field goal attempt for the majority of the first half due to foul trouble, Taylor made his presence known in the closing seconds of the first half.
