Evanston, Ill. -- Penn State is now bowl eligible, as it improved to 6-0 on Saturday with a 31-6 victory over host Northwestern.

The Lions have some notable problems, but they haven't stopped head coach James Franklin's team from having a perfect mark as the team enters a bye week following the win.

Offense: RB Saquon Barkley

It really wasn't a good day for any member of the Nittany Lions' offense, but Barkley shined when it mattered most, running 16 times for 75 yards and finishing with two scores despite Northwestern keeping him in check for most of the afternoon.
