UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - A standing ovation was how the No. 4 Nittany Lions (2-0) were welcomed into Rec Hall for their first home dual meet of the season after beating Army on Friday 45-0. Moments before the match began, the Nittany Lions hoisted the 2015-16 NCAA national championship and Big Ten championship banners into the rafters.
The meet was highlighted by four pins for the Nittany Lions, who beat No. 12 Stanford (1-1) handily 36-6.
"Anytime we're wrestling we want guys looking for bonus points," Penn State head coach Cael Sanderson said.
