When last Wednesday’s early signing period began Penn State had 15 commits. They are still at 15 commits, and by 10 AM Wednesday all 15 commits had signed with the Nittany Lions.
Penn State had hoped to land running back Deshun Murrell, however, he signed with the UCLA Bruins last Friday. While the Nittany Lions may have still been in the market for a running back, with the addition of grad transfer John Lovett on Monday, odds are, they will now skip running back in this class.
While Penn State’s class is not as highly rated as fans have become accustomed to under James Franklin, it is not bad, either.
