Blake Gillikin, who is the best punter in college football, has been named to the Ray Guy watch list, which is given each December to the best punter in college football.
Gillikin has been nothing short of spectacular in his three seasons as Penn State’s punter. He not only has brought much-needed stability to the position, he has excelled since his true freshman season in 2016.
The Georgia-native had an especially outstanding junior season in 2018. He broke the program record school for the single-season punting average with 44.0 yards per attempt. He also overtook Jeremy Boone for the best all-time average of 43.
