Baylor Running Back John Lovett Elects To Transfer To Penn State

Less than a week after Penn State head coach James Franklin said that the Nittany Lions plan to be active in the transfer portal this offseason, the Nittany Lions have added a grad transfer as running back John Lovett has made the decision to transfer to Penn State from Baylor.

During his four seasons with the Bears, the 6-foot-0 212 pound Lovett rushed for 1,803 yards and 17 touchdowns. Lovett averaged a healthy 5.1 yards per carry with Baylor, and he added 183 receiving yards and a receiving touchdown. Lovett will have one year of eligibility with the Nittany Lions.
