Multiple reports state University of Wisconsin outside linebackers coach Tim Tibesar will be the next defensive coordinator at Oregon State. Rivals.com was the first to report the news.
Tibesar spent three years as the Badgers' outside linebackers coach, helping to develop NFL talents Joe Schobert, T.J. Watt and Vince Biegel and guiding Garret Dooley and Leon Jacobs to breakout seasons in 2017.
Tibesar was a candidate to become UW's defensive coordinator each of the past two years before the Badgers chose Justin Wilcox in 2016 and hired Jim Leonhard to replace him earlier this year.
