The University of Wisconsin football team listed tight end Troy Fumagalli as questionable for Saturday night’s game at Nebraska on its preliminary injury report Monday.
Fumagalli was a surprise scratch from last week’s 33-24 victory over Northwestern when the Badgers announced his absence from the lineup two hours before kickoff with a left leg injury. Tight end Zander Neuville said after the game that Fumagalli first suffered the injury during the bye week.
UW coach Paul Chryst said Saturday that he thought Fumagalli had a good chance to play against the Wildcats before the Badgers ultimately held him out, but the senior remains questionable for the team’s trip to Lincoln this weekend.
