BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — A healthy Jonathan Taylor helped dig the University of Wisconsin out of an early hole in the Badgers’ 45-17 victory at Indiana on Saturday.
The true freshman running back, who entered the game questionable with a left leg injury, carried the load for UW’s offense with 29 rushes for 183 yards and a touchdown as the ninth-ranked Badgers improved to 9-0 on the season.
Taylor’s first carry went for 45 yards before quarterback Alex Hornibrook threw an interception in the end zone, a turnover the Hoosiers turned into an 80-yard touchdown drive the other way.
