PLYMOUTH MEETING -- When Kyle Pitts transferred to Archbishop Wood from Abington during the offseason, he was aware of the precedent that had been set by previous Vikings tight ends.
Colin Thompson was a former four-star recruit in the Class of 2012 who signed with Florida before transferring back to Temple, where he earned All-American Athletic Conference honorable mention as a senior.
When Pitts joined Wood, he wanted to live up to the legacy set by Thompson and by the program's track record of success. And so far, he's helped do that.
