It certainly wasn’t pretty, until maybe the fourth quarter, but Penn State was able to escape Bloomington last week with a win over the Hoosiers. While the victory kept the Big Ten Championship game hopes alive for the Nittany Lions, some injuries up front could be a case for concern.
Already down starting tackles Andrew Nelson and Brendan Mahon last week, tackle Paris Palmer left in the first half and returned sporting crutches and a leg brace. Right guard Connor McGovern was also banged up in the game.
Palmer is not listed on the depth chart, as Ryan Bates has been moved from left guard to left tackle.
