All-American wrestler Kyle Conel announces intent to transfer to Penn State

Days away from this year’s NCAA Tournament, Penn State may have just found itself in prime position to contend next year as well.

As first reported by FloWrestling, former Kent State All-American and two-time NCAA qualifier Kyle Conel announced via twitter, his intent to seek a medical redshirt and if granted, use his final year of eligibility to compete at Penn State.

If I am able to get a medical redshirt for next season, I will be attending Penn State University to pursue a masters and complete my final year of eligibility!
