At 9-years-old, Kane Wolf has become pretty familiar with the Penn State football team. Through the Make-A-Wish foundation, he was one of the kids on the kickoff clean-up crew before Penn State’s thrilling 24-21 victory over Ohio State last season. He’s attended Penn State football practices.
And on Saturday, he got to meet his favorite football player on the team — star running back Saquon Barkley.
“That’s both of their buddies,” Kane’s mom, Shannon Wolf, said of Barkley friendship of Kane and his little brother, 5-year-old Jackson.
The Wolf family were one of more than a dozen families who took part in the THON Explorers Program on Saturday — an annual event where Penn State football players take the families on a tour of the football Lasch Building.
