The Philadelphia Inquirer has the story about how the death of the redshirt freshman's brother inspired him to leave the city's "violent streets" to play for Penn State, which of course has netted he and his teammates a trip to the Rose Bowl to battle USC.
"As for Shareef, this will be his first visit to California," Eric McCarthy writes. "And when he walks into the Rose Bowl stadium for the first time, Shareef will think of his brother Mikal and wish he could see.
