When Penn State offered four-star Jersey City, N.J., Class of 2018 linebacker Shayne Simon back in January, it didn't have a linebacker in its recruiting class.
Now, it has three: Perkesie, Pa., four-star Nick Tarburton, Erie, Pa., four-star Jesse Luketa, and Cumberland Valley three-star Charlie Katshir.
Make no mistake, though: Simon is still a prospect the Nittany Lions are interested in.
The 6-foot-3, 215-pound recruit made a stop at University Park this spring to see head coach James Franklin and his program, and that visit has them right in the mix with the linebacker, who is currently in no rush to make a decision.
