2023 Quick Recap
Maryland, as they are wont to do under Mike Locksley, started hot in September. Due to having five games in the first month of last season, the Terrapins started 5-0, and looked like 2023 was going to be the year they finally competed with the top 3 of the East. The Terrapins blew out every opponent, two of them Big Ten opponents, to begin 2023.
The wheels fell off in October, as the Terps went 0-fer in the second month of the season, losing a competitive game against Ohio State that got out of hand in the end, paired with losses to Illinois and Northwestern, two teams Maryland was expected to beat.
