Day 1 went extremely well for the United States’ Amit Elor, at 68kg.

She had no trouble with the reigning World Champion at 68kg, then held the next two opponents scoreless. She’ll wrestle for Gold starting at 12:15p on Tuesday.
Adam Coon also drew the reigning World Champ in the first round, but couldn’t quite pull off the upset, losing 3-1 to Iran.
