Another Penn State football player is NFL bound, as safety Nick Scott was selected by the Los Angeles Rams in the seventh round of the NFL Draft. Scott started for one season at safety with the Nittany Lions but contributed every single season while in Happy Valley.
When he initially arrived on campus, he came in as a running back. He transitioned over to the defensive side of the ball after his freshman season. He then became a special teams star and contributor on defense by his junior year. Scott finally got his chance to start and made the most of it as a big-time player, especially in clutch moments.
