Penn State has had another player drafted in the 2019 NFL Draft. Defensive end Shareef Miller was taken by the Philadelphia Eagles with the No. 36 pick in the fourth round. He’ll be joining college teammate Miles Sanders in Philly.
The talented defensive end still had a another season to play with the Nittany Lions, but he opted to leave school early and head to the NFL. He really blossomed over his time in Happy Valley and turned into a proven pass rusher and a menace to opposing backfields. He also was connected with the program turnaround starting in 2016.
