UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - For the fifth time in program history, the Nittany Lion women's soccer team will appear at the College Cup. Top-seeded Penn State (20-3-2) will clash with second-seeded Rutgers (19-3-3) on Friday at 5 p.m. ET (ESPNU) in Cary, N.C., in the NCAA semifinals.
The Nittany Lions have marched to the College Cup in dominant fashion. In the first four games of the tournament, Penn State has outscored its opponents by a margin of 17-0.
"The 2015 team has been really special on the field, but they have been even more special off the field," said head coach Erica Walsh.
