A pair of Penn State women’s volleyball players contributed to a couple of international wins.
Tori Gorrell helped the Big Ten team to a 4-1 victory over the Russian Federation team in Maribor, Slovenia. The redshirt sophomore middle hitter played two sets and was a perfect 2 for 2 in her swings while adding three blocks, a dig and an ace.
The Big Ten team, with one representative from each of the conference’s 14 members, improved its record to 2-2 and continues its tour of Europe against the Croatian Senior National team Friday.
